ICING SHEETS can be moulded into the original white fondant on the cake. Wafer paper can be added over the top of the original fondant. Very easy to be applied.
All Icing sheets and wafer paper come with step by step instructions.
Using your prints
WAFER PAPER - APPLYING TO ICED CAKES: You only need to use a small amount of water, make the icing damp. Do not use too much water! when applying to the icing on the cake, wafer paper can wrinkle if the wafer paper becomes to wet.
WAFER PAPER - APPLYING TO BUTTERCREAM: To apply wafer paper toppers to buttercream, you can simply place them directly onto the buttercream. However, if using coloured buttercream, we recommend applying the toppers to fondant or icing first to prevent any colour bleed from the buttercream.
WAFER PAPER - CUPCAKES: To create a more professional cupcake finish, we recommend backing your wafer paper cupcake toppers onto rolled icing before applying them to the cupcakes.
1. First, roll out the icing evenly. Using a clean rolling pin, lightly dampen the icing with a small amount of water.
2.Working from one edge, carefully place each topper from one side to the other, pressing down to eliminate any air pockets.
Please note that colours may bleed if water is applied to the front face of the edible prints.
ICING SHEETS - To apply icing sheets to iced cakes:
Lightly dampen the iced cake with water, using just enough to evenly moisten the surface.
Starting from one edge, lay the icing sheet across the cake, smoothing it out as you go to eliminate any air pockets.
ICING SHEETS - APPLYING TO BUTTERCREAM: To apply icing sheets to buttercream:
You can simply place the icing sheets directly onto the buttercream.
However, if you are using coloured buttercream, we recommend applying the icing sheets to fondant or icing first. This will help prevent any colour bleed from the buttercream.
ICING SHEETS - CUPCAKES: For a more professional cupcake topping, we recommend first applying the icing sheets or fondant to a rolled fondant or icing base before topping the cupcakes. This provides a smooth, consistent finish to the cupcake decorations.
Our high-resolution, vivid, and bright edible inks produce realistic colors. The ingredients are EFSA-approved and specially formulated with a neutral ph.
Please note that despite our efforts, the actual colours may vary slightly from what is shown, especially for neon shades. This can be due to differences in screen, monitor, video card, phone, or browser settings, as well as our camera and lighting setup, printer, and inks used. By making a purchase, you acknowledge that there may be minor variations between the actual colour and the representation provided.
